It is promotion. After a ride without precedent the team from Siracusa, Albatro Teamnetwork, winning all matches in A2 championship, quite a new record, is back in the highest category. Eventually the purgatory ended, but it was imperative for building a new young and strong reality.
After three years and a new project the team of young people from Siracusa reached the highest category A1 due to a lot of work and enthusiasm. Major contributors to the achievement coacher Mister Peppe Vinci, technician Francesco Rosapinta , trainer Nino Urso and manager Giacomo Corsico. Great involvement of Teamnetwork Group, Main Sponsor, who is supporting Albatro with generosity providing Siracusa with a significant Association.
Deep joy of the athletes who three years ago believed in the project starting again from category B. At the end of the match with Marsala, when the promotion was mamathematically achieved, all the boys of handball school embraced the Albatro members of the team and broke into the parquet of PalaLoBello in Siracusa.
It has been the synthesis of an incredible year during which the youth male teams of U12, U14 and U16 and the youth female team of U14, have been absolute leaders in their championships. However, beside the agonistic aspects it is wonderful to recognize the enthusiastic participation of youngsters of all ages to the programs of the Association.
Now we are waiting for the next season when Albatro Teamnetwork will compete with the strongest teams of national handball championship.
