Our company SPERO srl has been asked by the cultural-political association “Tempi Nuovi” (New Times) to rent for two days (6th and 7th June) the space of the former industrial firm, in order to organise a convention.
The objective was to discuss the future plans for the development of Siracusa. This task was obtained by involving as much as possible leaders and citizens’ opinion in order to identify problems and therefore to give appropriate and workable solutions. In the two days almost 900 participants were involved.
They let the President of SPERO Vittorio Pianese deliver a presentation about the project regarding the new “Marina”, which is under scrutiny of the Public Administration, to get the appropriate building authorization.
Thanks to the outcome of the President presentation, both Siracusa Mayor and the other authorities seemed to have the intention to go ahead with the project. Nevertheless, the audience appreciated the guidelines on which the project is based.
Pianese declared that, if all the authorizations will be effective by the end of 2017, Marina di Siracusa will be operative by the year 2020.
